  1. I feel that the coolest technology is the Itouch Ipod. Even though it isn't the iphone it still have just as many applications that you can purchase and use, you can put a ton or music and pictures on it, and use the internet. Music is my favorite interest so that is probably why I feel that the itouch is the coolest technology out on the market right now.I guarentee they soon come out with a newer and upgraded version of the itouch, so I can't wait to see what comes next!!

  2. The coolest technology I have ever seen are the smart phones or blackberrys. They are just like minature laptops. The one I saw had windows and microsoft word and internet explorer. They also had a keyboard for typing. I think that is amazing they can fit all of the things on a laptop onto a small portable handheld phone.

  3. The coolest technology I have ever seen was at cross country nationls in high school. They had a chip system that took all of the kilometer and mile splits for the racers and then posted them right to the jumbotron while the race was going on. They were able to immediately announce the scores of the teams and say how many runners had crossed the split as they were doing it. It was pretty awesome to look back through the results and hear what was going on around me as the race was going on with other teams.

  4. In my opinion the best technology ever is the Iphone. It can do literally anything. It can make calls. It is an Ipod. It is a web browser. Anywhere you are you can do anything. If you need to find the nearest Starbucks there are 5 different ways just on the IPhone that can do that. Also the app store is amazing. There is literally an app for anything. That is why I think the IPhone is the best Technology ever.

  5. The coolest techonology I have ever seen is the Playstation 3. I was a little bit of a gamer as a kid but grew out of it i got older. The PS3 gave me that feeling i had as a kid, playing the new elabortate games with modified graphics. The system is not only advanced in the a gaming aspect, but the system is designed with the Blue Ray player, that makes watching movies more enjoyable.

  6. I think that the coolest technology today is the gps. The gps is very helpful to many people today and so many people use it. It really comes in handy when you are going anywhere that you don't know how to get to. It has been a huge advance in my life and i believe many others too.

  7. I feel that the coolest technology out right now is the IPod Touch. I have one and it is amazing how much it can do. I use it for music, videos, and can download different things while it is hooked up to the computer. Apple has always been ahead of the technology game in my eyes. I am looking forward for what gadget they will come up with next.

  8. In my opinion, the coolest technology I have ever experienced is my GPS. I think it is amazing how it always knows where to go and can recalculate a route if you make a mistake. The speed at which it recalculates is incredible. If I didn't have my GPS, I most likely would have gotten into an accident by now from trying to read mapquest and drive at the same time. Thank you technology!!

  9. Recently I have discovered that a lot of my documents are on my other computer at home. My dad ended up having to link our computers together with a firewire, however, the firewire did not help when I needed his computer again while we were in two totally different places. I did some research and found the new iTwin. The iTwin is about the size of a jumpdrive, but two parts. It links computers together, abling them to send files back and forth via the iTwin. I thought it was awesome being able to do that wirelessly rather than with a firewire

  10. Sony PSP has been out for awhile, being mainly used as a portable gaming system. I am not much of a gamer but I purchased a PSP for the other things you can do with it. With a 4 inch high-quality LCD screen, you can watch movies on a good display. It has a built-in Wireless LAN, so if you have a Wi-Fi connection, you can browse the internet on the PSP, similar to the Iphone or Itouch. The PSP can also be modified to where you can use it as a personal computer. With that said, I believe that the Sony PSP is one of the best portable entertainment systems out there.

  11. The coolest technology I have seen would be a cellphone. Cellphones allow you to reach anyone from any place. Cellphones also allow you to play games and listen to music and some cellphones have a gps. Having all these different applications helps a lot and to be able to fit all them into a small cellphone is pretty amazing.

  12. The coolest technology I have ever seen has to be an i-pod touch. I don't have one, but a lot of my friends do. I love playing with the touch screen. Whenever I get a hold of one, I am always sliding through the screen and picking songs. My one friend has one that has the option to play songs out loud like a speaker phone. I think the i-pod touch is the coolest technology out there.

  13. The coolest technology that I have seen is my aunts i phone. She was showing me the other weekend that she can literally bump her phone into a friends i phone and they can exchange email adresses, pictures, music, etc. Also, if a song is playing in a public place (ex: bar, dentist office) she can simply raise her i phone up and it will tell her who the artist is and what song it is so she can add it to her music. Im excited to talk to her again soon to see what else she can do on her i phone!

  14. I believe the GPS system is the coolest technology that I have and use regularly. It can take you anywhere you want to go with the push of a few buttons. If you dont know where you are going, you can search for what you want like a McDonalds or sports store. If you are lost it knows where you are and gets you to your destination a new way. The GPS system is the coolest technology that I have and use.

  15. I believe that the iphone is the coolest piece of technology. The iphone has many applications and can basically be a computer. It is a phone, ipod, camera, laptop, gps, and any application that you would like to add. Having all of this information and applications on a phone is a helpful and fun way to do technology.

  16. The coolest technology I have ever seen is the six-axis program they use on monday night football that analyzes how fast a player is running or how hard and at what angle the quarterback throws the football. I think the fastest player I have seen so far was Reggie Bush last year when he got up to 22.5 mph.

  17. The coolest technnology I have ever experienced would be GPS. I think it is amazing how GPS has been placed into cell phones and just stand alone models for people to use in cars. It is a great way to travel and not get lost, especically when you are traveling by yourself in an unknown area. The way our police systems are also using GPS to track down missing cars and people is a wonderful example of how far we have come in technology to help better our society today.

  18. I think that the coolest technology is the i pod touch. I got one for my birthday last year and still play with it everyday. I have a lot of applications for it and it is just really cool to be able to do some of the stuff on there. I could scroll up and down my list of songs all day. Just being able to touch the screen and have it do what you want is amazing. it makes things so simple.

  19. One of the coolest forms of technology i have seen would probably be the ipod touch. The interaction that is available with this device is awesome. There are so many applications that are available for performing so many different tasks it is like having a computer or personal assistant with you at all times. Who also plays music! I do not personally own one of these but i have friends who own them and using them is pretty cool. It is amazing at how fast our society is developing technology. I wonder what the next 10 years will bring.

  20. The coolest technologoy that I have seen is the ipod. I have the new ipod nano and I love listening to it, especially when I am working out. There is also a stopwatch on there so Ican tell how long I have been running for. I can also put pictures on it. There are also games and other accesories on it.

  21. The coolest technology I’ve ever used was a high end pair of night vision goggles. A friend of my dad had a pair of them and brought them when I, my dad, and he were checking sites to go bear hunting. I’ve tried night vision monocles before so I didn’t think there would have been much of a difference, was I wrong. There was no moon that nigh so it was pitch black, I tried them on and it was just like seeing in the day time with just a pair of green tinted sunglasses. Those night vision goggles are the coolest piece of technology I’ve used so far.

  22. I would have to say that the coolest technology out on the market today is the Blackberry smartphone. I maybe be alittle bias in saying this, because I own a blackberry. Previously I only had a simple cell phone, but now that I have a blackberry I feel like I have finally entered the 21st century. The countless appilications that you can download onto your phone is remarkable. This summer my laptop crashed and I did not have a computer available, so my phone served as my only computer. I can not imagine life with out my Blackberry.

  23. I definatetly feel that the coolest technology is the blackberry. I have one and my boyfriend has one. I do not use mine anymore because of not being able to pay my data plan, and it truly isnt a necsisity for my income. However, there has been many times where his smartphone has came in handy for emergencies or trying to find a location to a certain place. Smart phones really have transformed over the years and I think it truly is cool!

  24. The coolest technology that i have ever seen is the Global Positioning System (GPS). It is a U.S. based radionavigation system that gives people reliable navigation positioning, and even time on when we can arrive at the certain place we are trying to go. It is dead accurate and also gives you the best route to take when trying to find a specific location. I think it is the best technology ever created for taking vacations, or trips when you do not know where you are going. No more maps or directions are needed because of this new technology and Ithink everyone should own one.

  25. The coolest technology I have ever seen was a kind of metal detector in the North Carolina air port. When you were asked to go through it, you stood in the middle as wind blew all around you. It was really weird because you had to stand there with air blowing around you and tons of noises going off. The reason why they have these kinds of detectors is to test the air around you if you have been around dangerous materials like a substance to make a bomb. It was cool and really weird at the same time.

  26. I think that the coolest technology are smartphones. They are like having a computer right at the palm of your hand. You can check your facebook, twitter, email, make calls, and texts all using one little device. I think that they show how far technology has come. They are really amazing!!

  27. While I was sitting at home with my mom waiting to move into SRU, my mom told me about this new thing she wanted to get. I didn't really listent to her while she was explaining this thing called a Kindle, but as she talked and I caught snippets of what she was saying it really caught my attention. A Kindle is an Ipod of sorts for books. The advertisments claim it is thinner than a pencil (which it actually is) and holds all your books. If you want to sample a book before you buy it you can go to Amazon.com and send the sample directly to your Kindle. It uses the same wireless network that cell phones use so you can be anywhere and download a book in less than 60 seconds. You can write in the margins of the pages, listen to it as an audiobook, quote the book, and set the size of the fonts to read easier. Its relatively inexpensive and books are very cheap. For downloading books directly you only pay $9.99. The Kindle is a great new technology and will revolutionize bulky books and libraries.

  28. I think the coolest technology is the slingbox. The sling box is a box that connects to your cable box at home and then you download its software into your computer. When you do this you can control the Tv from your house on your computer from anywhere. I am from the philadelphia area so i enjoy watching the flyers phillies eagles and 76's. With my slingbox i dont miss any of their games becasue i just turn the sling box on and watch the game on my computer. With out this technology i would not get to see very many games of any team. That is why i think the slingbox is the coolest technology.

  29. I don't think this is the coolest technology I have ever seen or used, but the technology that I use the most, other than my phone, ipod, or computer, is my digital video recorder. I have alot of shows on television that I watch all the time, usually shows that are not on year round. Most of the time I am not home to watch them, especially when I am at school. Since I have a DVR at home, I could not live without it at school, so I got one installed from my cable company. It's only $13 a month, and I have the ability to record, watch, and rewaind live televsion, and also watch recorded shows. I really enjoy having the DVR, especially if I need to get up and do something or miss something. I can easily pause and watch it momentarily, record it and watch it later, or press the rewind button to rewatch what was just on.

  30. I think the coolest technology today are the GPS's. They help you get anywhere you need and even if you make a wrong turn it will automatically redirect you back on course. Then even have an application where there are places of interest, so if you are running low on gas, you can use the application and it will show you the nearest gas stations to your postion.

  32. Technology these days is becoming more and more exciting. The coolest piece of technology that i have seen in a long time is the I pod touch, it is just like the I phone but without the calls!! The quality of the pictures, albums covers and videos is unbelievable, to think that you can sit down and watch a complete movie from a handheld device is unbelieveable. I cannot wait for Apple to bring out the newest and more modern Ipod. The Ipod touch is going to be hard to beat!!

  33. I think that the GPS is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. You can find things such as restaurants, movie theatres, and basically anything that has an address. What is neat is that even if you don't know what restaurants are in the area it will find them for you and list how far they are from your current location and instruct you on how to get there! If that isn't cool then I don't know what is!

  34. I really think the coolest technology that I own is my iPod Touch. I love that no matter where I'm at with wireless internet, I have access to the Safari webbrowser. There are so many different things you can do with the Touch and the possibilities expand everyday. It will be very interesting to see where this piece of futuristic technology is at 5 even 10 years down the road...

  35. I bought a I Pod touch over summer. I think it is great. I have used it for landscaping while riding the lawn mower machines. It would make the day go a lot fster listening to music all day long. I didn't mind doing most of the work and I enjoyed being there. I used the internet on it only a little so far, i am looking forward to use it more often. I need to get my passowrd for the APPS store so I can download and use the Touch to its fullest.

  36. The coolest technology that I have heard about I believe it is called the Microsoft kitchen. I saw it on TV once. Everything about the kitchen was interactive! If you needed recipes all you had to do was look it up on the screen, which I believe was on the counter! Say you were out of the house and you had the oven on, it would sent you alerts to your phone letting you know when it was preheated and when it was done. I think it also would remind you of groceries. It was very useful and made life in the kitchen a lot easier.

  37. The coolest piece of technology I have ever seen is the Ipod Touch. It is an amazing tool. You literally have the world at your finger tips. Any piece of information you could ever need can be found through it. I recently had to go to the doctor and I saw that even he was using an Ipod touch. He downloaded an application that he used to help diagnose and persribe. It is a very cool piece of technology.

  38. The coolese technology that I own is the ipod touch. The best part about it was that my computer would not work for about a month. So I could still continuely check my email/blackboard through the ipod touch from the internet application. It also holds a lot more music than my previous ipod. The only bad thing about it is that I scratched the front screen and that section of the ipod does not work.

  39. I think the coolest technology to date is the Iphone/ Itouch.. I just recently got one and am so happy I decided to! Possibilities are endless when it comes to the Iphone/ Itouch. There are so many different applications to download. The applications range from games, horoscopes, sports, recipes and so much more! The Iphone/ Itouch has so much to offer! Anyone who is interested in buying a new phone or MP3 player I would definitely recommend the Iphone/ Itouch!

  40. The coolest technology im my opinion would be a cell phone. It may not be the newest technology, but it is definetly the coolest. You can be anywhere in the world and reach anyone at anytime whether it is through a text message or a phone call. This technology allows you to contact someone in case of emergency, talk to friends or family when traveling, or make plans even when you are'nt at home! without cell phones everything would take so much longer.

  41. To me, the coolest technology I have ever really used would be with the XBOX 360. I know we all have heard of this before, but I am still learning more about it each day. Besides the fact that you can connect to the internet and play most videogames with ANYONE in the entire world who is also connected, there are some simple things that I enjoy. Mostly, anything from a DVD to a music cd can be put in and be watched or listened to. And on those days where you're feeling lazy and stay on the couch all day, the controllers are wireless : ) so no need to get up all the time.

  42. The coolest technology that I have ever used and experienced is hands down the Iphone by Apple. This piece of equipment is not just a phone; it can do pretty much anything you want it to except think for you. It can be used as a phone, web browser, and even a compass. The applications that you can get with the Iphone are endless. You can play games, write a paper, or even chat with friends online and change your facebook status. The Iphone is a wonderful device.

    ReplyDelete
  43. The collest technology would have to be the new itouch phones. I do not actually have one but know many people who do and I now wish I had one. These phones can download just about anything from applications to games. You can watch sports, TV shows and browse the internet just about anywhere and just from your phone. Granted cell phones alone are a great technology but the iphone touch is one of the best.

  44. The coolest technology I have ever seen would have to be the Nintendo especially the game Duck Hunt. It was the first real technology game I ever played and was even interested in and I grew an interest at such a young age. It is amazing to me how back then when computers were still massive that something could be triggered through a gun and controlled into the television set. I feel like games like Duck Hunt were the real start of things that eventually gave creators the idea for such things as DDR and the Wii.

  45. The coolest technology that I've ever seen were night goggles that a military friend, Shane, from high school showed me. With little to no light I could see with these goggles. At the time we were spotting for deer in the fields by my house. Finally when we did spot some on the edge of the field, Shane put on the goggles and decided that he would see how close he could get before spooking the deer. He got within 25 yards of the deer before they caught the scent of a human. No wonder the military invests in these devices. They are awesome.

  46. In my mind I believe that the coolest technology is and Xbox 360. I say this because of all the advancements they made with the xbox. The controllers are wireless, you can do online gaming, and you can talk to other people around the work. Also on the xbox 360 you can download just about anything and play against anyone in the world. This is by far the coolest technology made but when they do update the xbox 360 it will just get better.

    ReplyDelete
  47. The coolest new technology is the PS3 which is the Playstation 3. You can play online against other people and it connects to the internet. Also you can surf the internet. It has wireless controllers which make it less complex and easier. In addition to the controllers, it can also play dvds or cds with perfect sound.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The coolest new technology is the Wii. I think this system offers a lot to the video gaming world. The Wii fitt and Wii sports is a great idea to get individuals into shape. They can stay at home and work out with out having to leave their home. This was truly a great idea.

    ReplyDelete
  49. The most technologythat I have used is my friends I phone. I couldn't believe all the gadgets that are on their phone. My phone is real basic. I can check email or go on the Internets. I liked the touch screen future that it had. If I would be lucky enough I might get it some day in the future.

    ReplyDelete
  50. The coolest technology I believe is the Ipod Touch, because it gives you the option to put music, pictures, videos, and other cool applications on it. You can also use wireless internet to browse around on the web, watch you tube videos, check emails and more. The new Ipod Touch 3G just released on September 09, 2009 has a couple new features as well. The new Ipod Touch 3G has a faster processer, and better WIFI connections. You can also use voice commands now to operate your Ipod. Hopefully the next generation Ipod Touches will add a camera to the them, like the 5th generation Ipod nanos have.
